The Banc Restaurant

Licensed (upper class) restaurant specialising in a range of local seafood dishes. Huge lunch and dinner menu available and an attractive wine list showcasing a number of Tasmanian wines.
The Banc Restaurant has two especial features, being the garden area for alfresco dining and a more formal dining room annexed from the restaurant (The Vault) and with seating at one long, curved candlelit table for up to 14 diners.

Ebb Restaurant and Bar

Modern restaurant offering great views over the beautiful Freycinet Peninsula. All day menu of creative dishes using much local produce is worth a drive up the coast. Specialising in fine seafood dining.

Kabuki by the Sea

Japanese food with slight Tasmanian flare. Indulge yourself in a choice of decadent gourmet derived from fresh local produce - abalone or oysters. At the same time, be captivated by the majestic view of the pristine Great Oyster Bay with the Schouten Island & Freycinet Peninsular as the backdrop. You may not want to leave.... it is easy to understand why.

Kabuki by the Sea, a fully licensed restaurant with a good variety of Tasmanian wine in our cellar, opens daily for morning coffee, lunch and Devonshire tea. We serve dinner Tuesday to Saturday from December to April. The restaurant opens for dinner only on Friday & Saturday from May to November.

Madge Malloys

Licensed Restaurant situated in central Coles Bay offers a modern, friendly ambience to savour the delights of the sea, freshly caught by us, or your choice from a varied menu of fine food. Winner "Informal Dining" Tas. 2000 RACA Awards.

Madge Malloys is a small award winning restaurant in the heart of Coles Bay owned and operated by Ian & Barbara Barrett since 1995 and specialises in the freshest local seafood such as `line caught fish ` from their fishing boat `Madge 2` oysters from Freycinet Marine Farm and wild scallops from Spring Bay.

The restaurant offers a friendly casual atmosphere and a dining experience not to be missed from the a-la-carte menu and extensive wine list. Bookings Preferred.

Freycinet Lodge

The Bay Restaurant at Freycinet Lodge is open every evening. A special place for a special meal! Watch the changing moods of Great Oyster Bay at sunset or enjoy the cosy atmosphere around a crackling open fireplace in winter. You can choose prime Tasmanian sea and farm produce from an /a-la-carte menu.

Richardson's Bistro is open for breakfast and lunch and, in summer, for dinner as well. 'The Bistro' offers casual dining at reasonable prices.

Guests can enjoy the sounds of an open kitchen and the aroma of freshly prepared meals while they enjoy the view of waves breaking on Richardsons' Beach. Meals are also served on 'the Deck' overlooking Coles Bay.

The Edge Restaurant

The Edge Restaurant lives up to its name, commanding the prime position at the resort's waterfront location, capitalising on stunning views over the mighty granite mountains 'the Hazards' and Great Oyster Bay.

The stylish and minimalist building includes a restaurant, lounge, bar and conference area. With a combination of fabulous views, architecture, food and friendly staff, eating at The Edge provides the ideal casual dining experience. The Edge Restaurant focuses on fresh local produce with an emphasis on seafood from Great Oyster Bay.The chef's Australian modern cuisine has Asian and French influences, creating uncomplicated dishes without overpowering the delicate flavours of produce from our pristine island waters and farmlands.

The Oystercatcher

The Oystercatcher is a Cafe / Takeaway in the town centre of Coles Bay.  It specialises in fresh local oysters, seafood and many homade foods, definitely a local 'hotspot' on the Freycinet Coast.

Orford:

In Orford there is a town favourite fish and chip shop (eat in or takeaway) on the Tasman Highway to the north of the town centre called East Coast Seafood. It is an exceptional seafood eatery and is well worth a visit. Contact them on (03) 6257 1549 or just turn up.
