Freycinet Lodge Challenge

Date: October 2009 (TBC)
Location: Freycinet National Park

"The Freycinet Lodge Challenge is designed for those devoted to endurance." Tim Saul, Race Director.

Participants run, kayak, road bike and mountain bike ride around parts of the spectacular Freycinet Peninsula on Tasmania's east coast, over two days. There is a one day race option on the Sunday.

Freycinet is awesome with its craggy and dramatic outlines, sea cliffs, forests, tracks, abundant wildlife, bright white beaches and striking blue-green sea.

The jewel is Wineglass Bay, a perfect half-moon bay that is ranked as one of the world's best beaches. The two day challenge is for participants who are adequately prepared - in terms of fitness, skills and equipment - to battle the elements and successfully complete this gruelling event.
